What a content day actually is

A content day is a dedicated filming session where we capture a large batch of content for your brand in one go — instead of filming bits and pieces every week.

One planned shoot replaces weeks of last-minute phone videos. You walk away with enough footage to cover your social feed, ads, and website for the month (or longer), all shot with consistent quality, lighting, and direction.

  • Built for social media, ads, brand assets and website content
  • Ideal for businesses that need consistent content without constant shoots
  • Everything is planned in advance so you know exactly what we're capturing
  • Available as filming only, or filming + editing (see below)
What you get

One shoot, a full content library.

Most clients walk out with 2–8 weeks of content depending on scope. The exact mix is shaped around your goals — here's what typically comes out of a shoot:

Short-form videos & reels

Vertical hooks, talking-head cuts, quick demos — built for Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts.

Stories & behind-the-scenes

Casual, off-the-cuff moments you can drip out across the week to keep your feed active.

Hero footage

A polished anchor piece for your website, ads, or pinned social — the "lead" video.

B-roll library

Clean, on-brand cutaways you (or your team) can drop into future edits without re-shooting.

Product or service content

Demos, showcases, and lifestyle angles for whatever you're selling — shot to convert.

Photography (optional)

Stills from the same shoot for feed posts, ads, and website imagery — add-on available.

Pick your session

Half day vs full day

Both sessions are built around the same process. The difference is how much content you walk away with — and how much variety you can pack in.

Half Day

3–4 hours of filming

Best for focused shoots.

  • One location, one or two key setups
  • Enough content for a few weeks — scoped to your goals
  • Great for a single message, launch, or offer
  • Ideal for solo founders or tight briefs
Most clients walk away with 1–3 weeks of content.
Full Day · Most popular

6–8 hours of filming

Best for serious content output.

  • Multiple setups, wardrobe changes, or locations
  • Enough content for a full month or more — scoped to your goals
  • Room for reels, stills, testimonials and BTS together
  • Ideal for brands batching a full month+ of content
Most clients walk away with 4–8 weeks of content.
Choose your option

Filming only, or filming + editing.

Every content day comes in two flavours. Pick what fits your team — if you have an in-house editor, go lighter; if you want content that's ready to post, go full.

Option 1

Filming only

You receive raw footage.

  • Full shoot day, directed and lit by me
  • Organised, labelled raw files delivered after
  • Your in-house editor takes it from there
  • Best if you already have an editor or team
Option 2 · Most clients choose this

Filming + editing

Content delivered, edited, ready to post.

  • Everything in Option 1
  • Full post-production on an agreed number of edits
  • Reels, shorts, hero cuts — delivered by platform
  • Best if you want a complete, done-for-you content system
Process

How it works

1

Strategy call

We map your goals, audience, and content gaps — and decide half vs full day, filming only vs filming + editing.

2

Shoot day

I handle everything on the day — setup, direction, lighting, pacing. You just turn up prepared.

3

Deliver

Raw footage if you picked filming only. Fully edited content within 5–7 business days if you picked filming + editing.

Pricing

How pricing works

Pricing is scope-based and fully transparent. Six levers shape every quote — no hidden fees.

1. Half day or full day

The biggest lever. Full days cost more but deliver significantly more content per dollar.

2. Filming only vs + editing

Raw-only is leanest. Edits are priced per agreed deliverable count.

3. Add-ons

Photography, extra hours, additional crew, FPV drone, or specialised gear — all optional line items.

4. Locations & travel

Multiple locations or travel outside Sydney metro may add travel time or a scout day.

5. Usage rights

Organic social and website use included. Paid media or broadcast usage scoped separately.

6. Turnaround

Standard is 5–7 business days. Rush delivery available as an add-on.

Send your brief — itemised quote back within 24 hours.

Why me

Why clients choose to work with me

Most videographers sell shoot days. I build content systems — shot for how your audience actually consumes it.

Content systems, not one-off videos

I don't sell "a highlight reel." Every shoot is built to feed a repeatable content engine you can actually run with.

Shot for performance, not just aesthetics

Hooks, pacing, platform aspect ratios, caption zones. Content shot to perform on socials — not just look pretty in a folder.

Specialist in fitness, founders & personal brands

40+ gyms, dozens of coaches and e-com brands. I know the formats that work in these niches and can hit them fast.

I direct non-confident talent

Most clients aren't natural on camera. I guide tone, pacing, and delivery so the final edit looks effortless.

5–7 day turnaround. Always.

Predictable timelines, locked up front. No vanishing freelancer, no endless delays.

One point of contact — me

No account managers, no briefs lost in translation. Direct communication from first call to final delivery.

FAQ

Common questions

What is included in a content day?

A dedicated filming session (3–4 hrs half-day, or 6–8 hrs full-day), directed and lit by me. Depending on the option you pick, you either receive organised raw footage, or fully edited content ready to post. All equipment, lighting, and direction is included — you just turn up prepared.

How much content do I get?

Most half-day clients walk away with around 1–3 weeks of content. Most full-day clients walk away with 4–8 weeks. The exact number depends on what we're shooting, how many setups we use, and how much editing is involved. We scope this clearly before the shoot.

Is editing included?

It's optional. Content days come in two versions: filming only (you get the raw files) and filming + editing (you get finished, ready-to-post content). Most clients choose filming + editing so the whole thing is done-for-you.

What's the difference between half day and full day?

A half-day is 3–4 hours and best for a focused shoot at one location. A full-day is 6–8 hours and gives you room for multiple setups, wardrobe changes, locations, or a much larger content library. Full days are the more popular choice for brands batching a full month+ of content.

Can we shoot at multiple locations?

Yes — usually within a full-day booking. We'll plan travel time into the schedule so we still maximise the actual filming hours. Happy to scope this on the strategy call.

How should I prepare?

Before the shoot we'll lock in a shot list, rough scripts or talking points, outfits, and any props or products. On the day, just turn up on time and relaxed — I'll direct you through every shot so it feels natural.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself, your team if relevant, and any products, wardrobe, or props specific to your brand. All cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and rigging are handled.

How much does a content day cost?

Pricing is scope-based rather than a fixed package price, because every brand needs a different mix. The main levers are half vs full day, filming only vs filming + editing, add-ons (photography, FPV, extra crew), and travel. You'll always get an itemised quote up front — no surprises. See the pricing section above for the full breakdown.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Each edited deliverable includes 1–2 rounds of reasonable revisions. Major direction changes or additional cuts beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately so nothing is ambiguous.

Who owns the footage and where can I use it?

You receive a full license to use the final delivered content for your brand, website, organic social, and general marketing. Raw footage stays with me unless otherwise agreed. Broader paid ad campaigns or broadcast use can be scoped in if you need it.

What happens if weather or illness forces a reschedule?

Shoot dates are protected once booked. If weather, illness, or a genuine emergency hits, we'll reschedule to the next available date at no extra fee. Late cancellations inside 72 hours may incur a hold fee — outlined clearly in the quote.

How often should I book?

Most clients run a content day monthly or quarterly depending on their content volume. We'll find the right cadence on the strategy call — for some brands it's a single one-off, for others it becomes an ongoing rhythm.
